We have been asked by readers and members of our email list, do the people (alleged cyberpaths) you profile ever come here and read? Do other online predators come here and read the things posted? The answer: HECK, YES.
We have a couple methods by which to see the location(s), ISPs and referrals to this site. We can see what they were searching for when they found us and what they read. Now, this site values the privacy of its readers. We DELETE all ISPs and other information on a daily basis. However, when someone or something we know is a predator or an ISP comes up over and over every day.... we pay attention. We don't block the person or discourage them. But we notice. And we also notice what sort of articles and information our readers are looking for. It helps us make decisions about the type of articles and information to continue to place here - and what our readership finds valuable.
Here's some 'stats' on the Predators we have profiled so far:
Out of all the Cyberpaths we have profiled or mentioned so far, only two (2) have NOT been to this site.
Only one (1) person profiled has contacted us so far. Oh, not to place a rebuttal but to threaten us. This included sending some of their friends/proxies to fish for information or badger us. I guess this person didn't know what they were dealing with. (Cyberpaths seem to consistently underestimate some of their targets.) They threatened to report us to the police. Fact is, we had already reported that individual to appropriate law enforcement for some items posted to their Target we could not post on the site, that we found very disturbing.
The Cyberpaths generally only read what we say about them. Sad to say they don't seem to read any other articles, which could probably be helpful to them in healing their behavior. But of course, Online Predators often see nothing wrong with their behavior. We can only guess at how many are right back online, doing the same thing to other victim(s). (Probably all of them)
At least 4 of the Online Predators profiled have gone to other "exposure" sites and made threats to get their information removed. There has been mixed success with them doing so.
All of our Cyberpaths have BLAMED THEIR VICTIMS for what happened.
The common blames are:
- 'the victim' should have known better/ 'the target' asked for it
- 'the victim' is lying/ its all a lie 'the victim' made up
- I don't even know 'the victim'
- I was set up
- 'the victim' is just obsessed with me; a scorned woman/ man; trying to ruin my life; jealous; stalking me
All but one (1) of our Online Predators has had to answer to law enforcement about their online behavior, the effects of their online behavior or related criminal activity
Four (4) of our Cyberpaths have spent time in jail for various types of fraud and fraudlent acts
All of our Male Online Predators have shown a high degree of possible sex addiction with features of romance and love addiction. Our female cyberpath has shown at least the latter, if not both.
Only one (1) of our targets/victims has said they would be willing to still speak with their Cyberpath.
None - not one - of our Online Predators has attempted in ANY WAY to make amends, atone for or take responsibility for what they did or make peace with their victims
In our opinion (we are not doctors or psychiatric professionals) - all the persons profiled so far show some signs of a personality and/or mental disorder: Narcissism, Sex Addiction, Depersonalization Disorder, Romance/Love Addict, BiPolar Personality Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder and/ or Sociopathy.
All of our victims/targets have sought some degree of therapy because of the trauma of their victimization. At least half of them have long-term PTSD or other problems because of the victimization as well.
There you have it. We are going to touch more on the 'making amends' and 'traumatic effects' of the Cyberpath and Victim, respectively this month. - Fighter
