Update on Mike Campbell

We heard from no less than five (5) women who were preyed on by this man and all said there were many more. (No it wasn't the same person writing in every time as other people. we checked IPs. And no, we don't know if these women even know each other)

We did receive another letter about Campbell recently:
I am emailing about Mike Campbell. First of all I want to know why the story was removed. I understand that he went into a narcissistic rage after he was busted online and a number of people backed up the facts about him. I will say, that these women were in the right to come forward and try to get the word out. Not only were they right on in doing this, but some of them genuinely cared.

I recently talked with another friend who it so happened had been lied to by this same man in the past and contacted her. Eventually we were able to find out what actually has taken place in these last months.

Now I have been informed of the outcome and the extreme vindictive measures he has taken in order to hurt women he already victimized.

I just wanted to express my thanks to all his victims for coming forward. Keep your head up and know that there are people on your side. you're the real deal!

They made many promises to drop it all if we took the postings down. At the request of the victims, we did so - yet NOTHING WAS DROPPED. One abused & used victim already suffering from PTSD is being dragged into court by Campbell & his attorney near the end of June 2007 anyway!

Apparently Mr. Campbell has decided to use the legal system to further traumatize his victims by suing for telling their story saying that it caused him emotional & financial harm. CAMPBELL even got his poor, cheated-on wife to commit perjury and LIE for him! (This according to our legal research sources) Probably no more affairs and one-niters for this predator. BOO HOO

Campbell and his attorney wanted all the postings about him taken down:
1. EOPC doesn't control the whole internet and we are not responsible if other sites pick up on our postings and

2. EOPC has NEVER heard from Campbell or his attorney. So to hold any of his VICTIMS responsible is punitive and petty.

The truth is out and will stay out. We believe Campbell could better utilize his funds with intensive psychiatric counseling to find out why he needs to prey on vulnerable women and help him stop.

MIKE CAMPBELL - REDUX

UPDATE 3/27/07
This isn't the first or last time EOPC has gotten or will get veiled threats of this nature via our comments. We see that Mr. Campbell is still visiting this site daily. This poster came in from a Netscape News Aggregator which EOPC belongs to and promises to "personally see to it" that EOPC is closed down.

What this poster did not bother to do was to see or read any of the many legal links or the agreement form which we make all our victims sign and return.

This poster also should send this same threat to many of the sites under "EXPOSE THEM" on the right, some of which also pick up stories from EOPC and other sites. This isn't the only place Mr. Campbell is listed and all these sites have a same, very high standard of report and liability.

Let me preface my contribution by saying that I personally know Mike Campbell. He has backed me several times at blues jams and he has been nothing but supportive and gentlemanly to me. He has never come on to me or acted in appropriately in any way. And before any of think there must be something wrong with me, I am a very attractive woman and I am happily unmarried. But let's not look for reasons why he didn't "violate" me, just know that he hasn't done it to ME.

Next, I happen to run a non-profit for domestic violence, abuse and stalking victims. So I am not in favor of ANYONE, friend or foe, victimizing anyone in any way. Am I saying he did it? No. I am also not discounting how these women feel or what happened in his other relationships. The truth is that I don't know, I wasn't there.

What I do see are lot of legal holes that can be punched into this. And the owner of this site had better start doing some reading up on the law when it comes to slander/libel.

The first thing that jumped out at me was, "Unless you have hard proof that this person was LYING, THE TRUTH is a 100% defense to slander or libel.". WRONG. He does not have to prove she is lying, she has to prove she is telling the truth as she is the one making the claim in a public forum - IF he does decide to take her to court. Based on what I have read, she has not kept any of the correspondence they exchanged. I see alot of "Anonymous" posters making claims that he has done the same thing - who the hell are they? Are they going to be prepared to testify in court? I see the fact that he plays in a blues band fueling a stereotype. Maybe he cheated on his wife - that would not be nice. Sociopaths may have their perversions, but not all cheaters are sociopaths. To say he has broken up marriages before is to give him absolute power over these relationships. Does he have some kind of goo-goo dust that he sprinkles over these women that renders them helpless or less responsible for their actions? Bottom line, if they were secure in their marriages, themselves or both, Mike would not have been able to get a foot in the door. Does that mean Mike is a sociopath for chasing married or other women? No, it really just makes him immoral, if it were true. Again, I'm not saying this particular women did not go through what she went through. I do not know. I wasn't there.

What I do know is you all had better have a solid case against him because you PUBLICLY named him. The repercussions reach far beyond this woman. The ONLY information you should make public is public information (arrests, legal documents, etc.) if they pertain to this matter.

Naming him, his band, and other recognizable information is asking for trouble - and I mean big trouble. You not only defamed him, you have put the members of his band at risk of losing income as well and people and their money are not happily parted. I personally would like to see how this all plays out. If he deserves to be punished, then so be it and I will be very disappointed. If this is just another bashing under the guise of benevolence, I will personally see to it this site is shut down.

In the last couple months since running Mike Campbell as our first Predator of 2007, EOPC has gotten letters of gratitude from other victims - for allowing the member to tell her story about this predator. Seems Mike gets around.

We have even heard from husbands and other women who know about this guy and are relieved the truth is out there. They stayed anonymous to us.

It appears that Campbell himself comes to EOPC, clicking in from news aggregators and so on. Campbell has been threatening those he thinks may have exposed him. Same stuff all the cyberpaths do... "lies, slander, never happened, she's nuts, she's delusional"...

We heard from no less than five (5) women about this guy. Only two were willing to talk - in the hopes Campbell would get help - and then only guarded-ly. The others were afraid and one may have a child by him. We also heard from one of his former band members who anonymously confirms everything we were told about him and more.

All the women said their marriage or relationships were having problems. Most said they were naive and trusting -- and that Campbell used his "I am a good Christian" rap on them along with pretending to be a 'shoulder to cry on.' (PREDATORS ALWAYS HUNT WOMEN LIKE THIS!!)

Campbell tend to use instant messenger programs. He stays up late at night on the internet. (RED FLAG!!) He admitted to a couple women he has a bad porn addiction problem and sees women as OBJECTS. (MANY Cyberpaths do)

All of them said there were times he would tell me things and later act like he forgot or say what they remembered never happened and "it was all in my head." (This is called the 'CONFUSION TECHNIQUE' - its a form of Gaslighting.

Sounds EXACTLY like our March 2006 Cyberpath "Yidwithlid"! Same word salad, same bullpocky)

They all said during the relationship they walked around in a fog, all the while there were signs that something wasn't right. (that's the effects of mind control, seduction science and sexual NLP - a lot of victims talk about this mental fog or feeling like "a wet blanket on their brain & common sense" You are NOT alone!! That's a sign something is very wrong but the Cyberpath will convince you its "LOVE" -- its not -- it's MIND CONTROL.)

Campbell would say things on email and IM that were very provocative and contradictory. (typical) He lied all the time. Not one of the women we heard from had never done anything remotely like this before! It was out of character for them all. (Once again, most victims report this same thing - a sign you are being hypnotized & manipulated. Sandra Brown's book WOMEN WHO LOVE PSYCHOPATHS report this phenomenom MANY times with the victims of these men.)

They all found he was doing this at the same time juggling multiple other women. (Yes!) Since Campbell was in a Blues band, he has access to a lot of women -- many that he gets 'involved' with.

They all found out too late that Campbell was a known philanderer. Even more truth about Mike came to light then. He has a history of breaking up other people's marriages. (Yes, most Cyberpaths tend to have a pattern and continue to follow it)

Campbell frequently approaches others ask for forgiveness and tell them he was "getting right", (yes! Cyberpaths when caught often say they are getting counseling or religious help or trying to 'do the right thing.' Don't hold your breath! They ONLY DO THIS TO GET YOU TO KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!) According to his last wife, he is still doing it, and because of that they split up. (Surprise! NOT...)

Campbell routinely said things that just didn't make sense. (WORD SALAD) But like all predators, he keeps his women in too much in a fog to understand it. He jokes in passing about how he has "studied women for a long time." (SEXUAL & EMOTIONAL PREDATOR)

This man fits most criteria for being a sociopath & a cyberpath completely. Stay away!
